Save the Date – April 11th 2017 #FlakeOut2018

Senator Jeff Flake… where do we start?

Most recently, Jeff Flake lead Republicans in Congress to dismantle privacy laws, allowing internet service providers to sell your private data. He didn’t just vote for it. He proposed the legislation.

He votes with Trump 100% of the time. YES, you read that right. 100%. But in September of 2016, he promised to “Keep hounding Trump.” In August, he asked Republicans to “push back on Trump.” Life comes at you fast, I guess.

In 2013, he garnered the less-than-prestigious recognition for least popular Senator. In my research for this blog post, I found some even worse information I won’t even bother sharing. And while we’re here, I might as well point out his stupid duck joke.

Jeff Flake is considered vulnerable. This is a fight we can win. So when Jeff Flake kicks off his bid for reelection, we’re kicking off our bid to un-elect him.

Save the date. April 11th, 2017. Prepare your signs, slogans and chants. We’re taking it to the streets, again.

Moments ago on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Jeff Flake commented that Judge Gorsuch should be allowed to go to the full Senate for a vote without a filibuster and if he were in the minority he’d do the same of any presidential nominee. Why does he have to be in the minority? He should have given President Obama the same consideration last year with Chief Judge Garland. Add this to the list of reasons why it is time to #SHAKEFLAKE and elect a new senator from AZ in 2018. A senator who will represent the people not the corporations. Who is going to step up?
